Gospel artist, Tatenda Mahachi, has for the fifth time released a single with its visuals all at once as he intensifies visibility on the local entertainment scene.

Mahachi earlier on this week released a new single, You Alone Jesus which he collaborated with debutant Nyachide.

You Alone Jesus was produced by Lazarus “Lazzy T” Chapo and written by Nyachide Thokozane and Tatenda Mahachi.

The visuals were shot by Vusa Blaqs.

Speaking to Bustop TV, the award-winning artist said that the song is based on Psalm 23.

“The song is premised on the popular Psalm 23, it inspires us to remember God’s grace and guidance in times of turmoil and difficulty. The song is a powerful reminder that we have a loving God who journeys alongside us as we navigate life’s many ups and downs including the global COVID-19 pandemic the world is currently gripped with. We believe you will find inspiration in this song.”

The song is also Nyachide’s first-ever studio project.

Commenting on Nyachide’s effort, Mahachi jokingly said, “It’s her debut and I am introducing her to the industry,” to which he laughed off because her composure is unreal for a first-timer.

Mahachi has released singles, Vanochema, Usacheme, Victory and the hit Ndisiye which featured the late great Oliver Mtukudzi.

The culture of releasing songs with their visuals which Mahachi does has also been grasped by afro contemporary artist Gemma Griffiths who has in the past month released Neitungamire and Ndinewe which are both doing well on YouTube.

Tatenda Mahachi is a former goalkeeper with ZPC Kariba and has since hung his boots and grabbed the microphone where he continues to leap ahead of many artist.
