Harare-MBIRA maestro Amadhuve Sasha is set to make her virgin show in the United Kingdom,Express Mail Zim can report.
The show is pencilled for March 29 courtesy of Afro Asia Fusion powered by veteran promoter Patricia Masvanhise who has been running the Heitage Show since 2018.
It will be held at Belle Vue.
The show has a decorated line up including the inimitable Tinashe Kimberly Rusike, Felistas Marufu, and Dorothy Shonhiwa.
This event marks a milestone in her career, as she brings her unique sound to a global stage.
“Preparations are at fever pitch and we expect her to mesmerise her UK fans,”said one of the organisers.
Born and raised in Zimbabwe, Amadhuve Sasha’s musical journey began at an early age.
Growing up surrounded by the vibrant sounds of Zimbabwean traditional music, she developed a deep connection to the mbira, a sacred instrument that has been at the heart of Zimbabwean culture for centuries. Over time, she honed her skills, blending traditional rhythms with contemporary influences to create her own distinct afro-fusion style.
