Government has said schools will reopen on the 30th of August for examination classes and 6th of September for non-examination classes.
Schools had been closed since early June.
Speaking at a post cabinet briefing today, Information minister Monica Mutsvangwa said, “schools will re-open on 30 August 2021 for examination classes and 6 September 2021 for non-examination classes.”
Intercity travel bans will be set aside to allow pupils to travel.
“InterCity and intercity transportation for learners will be allowed during the re-opening of schools periods, subsections to monitoring by law enforcement agencies.”
