Nominees for this year’s edition of the 2021 Zimbabwe Britain (ZimBrits) awards have been announced with voting commencing today.
This was revealed by UK based entertainment promoter and event organizer Kudzai Chipadza during an interview with Bustop TV.
“We have received over 3000 nomination requests and the voting stage begins has began today Monday. The categories are, MC of the year, male DJ of the year, female DJ of the year, make up artist of the year, event of the year, catering company of the year, best social media group of the year, gospel artist of the year, male artist of the year, female artist of the year, dancer of the year, event company of the year, people’s choice award and promoter of the year” he said.
Kudzai Chipadza added that the event is meant to showcase entertainers and to bring them together to network.
“Zimbabwe British Entertainment Awards ( ZimBrits) 2020 is an initiative to show appreciation to Zimbabweans who are in the UK Diaspora entertainment industry. It is an occasion to bring the Entertainment Industry together, network and foster collaborations while also strengthening the Entertainment Industry.
“It is an occasion to highlight our successes as well as discuss our shortcomings, thus ensuring we continue building the Entertainment Industry in innovative ways that ensure we find value in what we do.
It is also an opportunity for corporates to partner with us and promote their brands through the artistes who will grace the occasion as well as enhance brand visibility during the voting stage up to the main event,” Chipadza said.
He also urged corporates to partner ZimBrits in making the event a success as in efforts to strengthen the entertainment Industry.
