Masvingo – Rujeko Isolation Centre has received 5mini Oxera kits for its Covid -19 response from Kufema organisation.

Kufema organisation promised a donation of five more kits for the facility.

The centre recently received oxygen concentrator but is still in need of nine oxygen concentrators for its 10beds.

In an interview with the Masvingo Provincial Cordinator for Kufema Organisation, Matthew Munindi said it is their mandate to help people with respiratory distress.

“As Kufema, it is our mandate to save livea and help people with respiratory distress breathe easier. We do this through donating oxygen therapy equipment such as the innovative OXera kits to emergency response teams, hospitals and healthcare providers who provide treatment to the public at no cost or low cost.

“We hope and pray the donation we made will go a long way in helping and saving lives.  Five more Oxera kits are coming to make them 10 so that each bed will have one. We have to fight together against the spread of the virus so will be helping in as much as we can,” he said.

The Masvingo Town Clerk, Eng Edward Mukaratirwa welcomed the donations which will go a long way in saving lives. More donations are pouring in and he thanked all the partners they are working with and all those coming forward with more donations.
