THE Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe (RBZ) has ordered Simbisa Brands Pvt (Ltd) to shut down operations of its local money transfer platform, InnBucks with immediate effect.
In a statement Tuesday, RBZ governor John Mangudya said in November 2021 the company was given a directive to regularise its service but had not done so to date.
Customers can no longer transfer or deposit funds into Innbucks accounts and have been given 30 days to withdraw their balances.
