MDC Alliance leader Advocate Nelson Chamisa who has been on a month long bereavement leave following the death of his mother Alice Chamisa last month has returned and is set to resume his duties this Friday .
A statement released to the media by Spokesperson Fadzai Mahere said Mr Chamisa was back from his month long leave .
“The MDC-Alliance welcomes back President Nelson Chamisa from his leave of absence.President Chamisa took time to mourn his beloved mother and, shortly after, the sudden death of his uncle”. the statement read.
The party further said their leader will resume his duties starting Friday .
“President Chamisa will resume his official duties on Friday 7th August”. the statement reads
Meanwhile , Mr Chamisa returns from leave at a time many of his footsolders including Hon Job Sikhala and youth league members are in hiding as authorities seek to cage them on allegations of inciting public violence .
