The Zimbabwe Prisons and Correctional Service (ZPCS) has released the image of Feliciano Simango, also known as Fidelis Jorum Mauyangwe, one of the two inmates who escaped from Mutimurefu Prison on March 5, 2025.
The ZPCS urges the public to remain vigilant and report any sightings or information that could lead to the swift recapture of Mauyangwe. Authorities have emphasized that the escapee should not be approached under any circumstances. Members of the public are advised to immediately inform the nearest police station or correctional facility if they spot him.
Feliciano Simango, also known by his alias Fidelis Jorum Mauyangwe, is considered a dangerous individual, and his escape poses a serious concern for public safety. The ZPCS is working closely with law enforcement agencies to track down and apprehend the fugitive.
The Zimbabwe Prisons and Correctional Service is urging the public to be alert and to cooperate with authorities to ensure the swift return of the escapee to custody.
