The student activist also took time to speak #ZimbabweanLivesMatter where he said he was sickened by the plight of young people.
Paradzayi said, “As a student activist we have felt the blow in terms of persecution and we some of us have been exposed to police brutality and arrests for example Talent Madava, Tawanda Muchechiwa amongst others. We are clear and stand in solidarity and for the notion #ZimbabweanLivesMatter because we are citizens before we are students and everything prevailing in the country affect us #ZimbabweanLivesMatter.”
Past winner of this award which is entering it’s second year include rapper, Kikky Badass and comedian, Tinaye.
The awards seek to recognise local university icons across all disciplines from the various universities in the country.
