Multiple online reports have alleged that outspoken war veteran and Zanu PF central committee member, Blessed Geza, is currently hiding at the Josiah Magama Tongogara Barracks, formerly known as KG6, in Harare.
The poorly evidenced reports have even gone to the extremes of suggesting that policing authorities who publicly say they want to arrest Geza over multiple criminal charges including undermining the authority of President Emmerson Mnangagwa, are aware of the war veteran’s whereabouts.
According to the reports, it is difficult for the police to arrest Geza as he has the full protection of the Army.

These reports come in diametric contrast to police claims that they are seriously on the look out for Geza, who is facing several criminal charges.
In a statement recently, the Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) posted on its X handle:
“The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) is seeking information on the location, and subsequent questioning of a suspect, Blessed Runesu Geza, alias Bombshell.
(Geza) is facing four counts of criminal charges as outlined: theft allegations as defined in Section 113 of the Criminal Law Codification and Reform Act Chapter 9:23. (Geza) stole and disposed three vehicles belonging to a complainant without his consent”.
