Former Member of Parliament and opposition leader, Fadzayi Mahere, has initiated legal proceedings against fellow lawyer and religious figure, Prophet Advocate Joshua, alleging that he made unwelcome advances towards her, including expressing a desire to marry her.
Mahere contends that these actions were unprofessional and inappropriate.
We have given Prophet Advocate Joshua 14 days to respond to these allegations. The incident in question reportedly took place several years ago, but Mahere has only recently chosen to seek legal recourse.

Supporters of Mahere have lauded her decision to come forward, while others are reserving judgement until Joshua provides his response.
As of now, neither Joshua nor his legal representatives have issued an official statement concerning the matter. The case remains under investigation as the 14-day response window progresses.
