The Zimbabwe electoral commission has shelved the voter registration programme which was scheduled to commence on 6 December.
In a statement, the electoral commission said the programme will commence at a later date.
“Please be advised that the Mobile Biometric voter registration exercise which was scheduled for 6 December has been rescheduled to a later date to be advised in due course,” read ZEC statement.
Critics and analysts have been questioning the delay of mobile registration and this further delay will cast a tainted spot on ZEC.
