The Zimbabwe Energy Regulatory Authority (ZERA) has announced a slight increase in petrol prices for March 2025, while diesel prices have dropped.
According to the latest update, the price of petrol has risen by US$0.01 to US$1.54 per liter, while diesel has decreased from US$1.58 to US$1.55 per liter. The adjustment reflects global market fluctuations and local economic factors affecting fuel pricing.

A review of Zimbabwe’s fuel prices over the last half-year shows a pattern of fluctuations:
- September 2024 – Petrol: $1.53, Diesel: $1.55
- October 2024 – Petrol: $1.49, Diesel: $1.50
- November 2024 – Petrol: $1.51, Diesel: $1.52
- December 2024 – Petrol: $1.48, Diesel: $1.54
- January 2025 – Petrol: $1.48, Diesel: $1.53
- February 2025 – Petrol: $1.53, Diesel: $1.58
