Zim Covid-19 cases rise to 332

Zimbabwe has today recorded 332 Covid-19 confirmed cases after 12 more people tested positive.

Of the new cases 11 are returnees from South Africa while one is a local transmission.

According to the Health ministry a total of 277 are active cases, 51 have recovered and 4 deaths have been recorded since the onset of the outbreak on 20 March 2020.

“Twelve (12) cases tested positive for COVID-19 today. These include returnees from South Africa and one (1) contact of a known case who are all isolated.

“Today 770 RDT screening tests and 267 PCR diagnostic tests were done. The cumulative number of tests done to date its 54 746 (33 674 RDT and 27 072 PCR),” reads the Health ministry Covid-19 update
