Multi-award-winning radio and television personality, Yvonne Mangunda (36) has left Dynamos FC.

Mangunda officially confirmed the new development on social media. No official statement has been issued by Dynamos.

The former StarFM sports presenter, Mangunda, leaves Dembare 10 months after she was appointed as the club’s Marketing and Communications Manager in November 2020.

Mangunda took to her official Facebook page saying she was forced disclose the news after it had leaked it on internet.

“So someone beat me in breaking my own news. Someone broke the news before I even posted about it. I was planning to do this later this week but anywhere its already out,” she said.

She attached a letter which reads, “Thank you, Dynamos family, for the warmth and love you have shown me in the past 10 months.

“Im so glad to have been part of such a big family but it’s time for me to move on. I have resigned as the Marketing and Communications Manager. I will forever cherish the moments I had with the team including receiving my first medal in the Independence Cup.”

Her resignation comes after reports that the two parties were in loggerheads over undisclosed issues.

Nonetheless, responding to one of the people who commented on her post by raising the same issue as the catalyst, the former Studio 263 actresses cleared the air and dismissed the rumour.

“George Nechironga, I was never pushed out, that is a lie. If I still wanted to stay, I would still be there. But I did what works for my career growth because a better opportunity was presented to me,” she responded.
