LEADER of the newly established political party FORUS Manyara Irene Muyenziwa has said her party is there to challenge Zanu PF hegemony and will be a force to reckon in the upcoming 2023 harmonized general election.
Speaking at her party manifesto launch in Harare over the weekend , Muyenziwa said that , her party will improve the country from the multiple problems that have been affecting the country for the past years.
“I am the truth to power and power belongs to the voter. FORUS party is not one of those fly by night political parties . Ours is to transform the lives of the people of Zimbabwe. To govern differently . To breath a culture of servant leadership”.
Muyenziwa also said that her party’s vision is to promote a transitive market economy.
” We will complete and finish the unfinished business of the liberation struggle, through the promotion of a democratic, transformative market economy where the regulatory role is to create a highly sophisticated and highly technologized society” said Muyenziwa.
She also added that her party will work with progressive minded political parties in Zimbabwe.
“We are open for a broader alliance with progressive political parties as we go towards 2023”.
As Zimbabwe prepares for the 2023 election , political parties have began conversing for votes.
