MDC-T Vice President has announced the split of the opposition party into two formations.
Khupe said she will lead the splinter group and the other by Douglas Mwonzora.
This follows Khupe’s suspension from the MDC-T which was announced on Thursday. The party said it was conducting investigations into the allegations levelled against her.
She hit back saying by declaring himself the leader of the MDC Alliance, Mwonzora had expelled himself from the party.
Speaking at a press conference in Bulawayo, Friday, Khupe said Mwonzora was an illegitimate leader of the MDC-T.
