Tangai bhawa hit-maker Hails Reopening of Bars

ZimDancehall artist and Tangai Bhawa chanter Fidel Country Boy has praised  government’s decision to reopen all licensed bars and nightclubs.

Licensed bars and nightclubs were given the greenlight to re-open in adherence with Covid-19 protocols.

Cabinet’s announcement came at a time when all bars and nightclubs were suspended since March 2020 due to the Covid-19 pandemic lockdown protocols.

Speaking to Bustop TV, Country Boy said the decision will contribute in speeding up government’s target in terms of the vaccination herd immunity.

“I want to thank government for its effort to allow bars and nightclubs to re-open but under strict Covid-19 protocols.

“It has been long since people last took themselves out for drinks kuma bhawa. But now that government has re-opened people can now enjoy not forgetting they will singing and dancing to my song Tangai Bhawa.

“This move by the government will make people to go for Covid-19 vaccination programme in numbers. Everyone person who is willing to go to the bar will make sure that they are fully vaccinated,” he said.
