DYNAMOS legend Stanley “Samora” Chirambadare, who is facing sodomy charges, was yesterday remanded in custody for allegations of sodomy.

Chirambadare appeared at Harare Magistrates’ Court on Thursday morning following his arrest on Wednesday for allegedly sodomising a 13-year-old boy from his Revival Football Academy based in the high-density suburb of Mufakose.

The former soccer player will have to apply for bail at the High Court.

Chirambadare, who is elder brother to former Warriors number one keeper Ernest, played for Dynamos as a left-back in the 1980s and 1990s.

He formed Revival Football Academy in 2009.
