Simuka Comedy roars back to life

One of the countries biggest comedy shows, Simuka Comedy Night, is back with the next show to be held at Ela the Garden, Newlands, Harare.

The show is set for the 11th of June starting 6pm.

The star studded line up includes Doc Vikela, Tinaye and Psyco Crisis.

Tickets are pegged at US$5 and can be purchased at the gate or in advance. For advance tickets and other inquiries fans can contact 0777828657.

In an interview with Bustop TV, Simuka Cimedy’s communications officer, Kadem the Comic said they were happy to be back live.

“After a long time, having canceled live shows, we have gotten back to our usual ways. We started in May and we have hosted one show at Ela the garden. This will be our second show here. The reception was good and people are enjoying. The venue is a good and it’s a venue Simuka Comedy is trying to explore. We also want to capture the market from that area. We will be having shows at Reps Theatre at Belgravia and

“The Venue in Avondale. Comedians are slowly trying to rise. We have a lot of upcoming comedians like Psyco Crisis. We are mixing upcoming comedians with established ones. Our shows are now starting a bit early. We are now starting at 6 pm although previously we would start at 7 pm so that people will have time to go back home. We observe COVID-19 regulations and we are now back operating like we did before the lock downs.”
