Upcoming dancehall ace, Prince Boyah rues the pulling down of his song, ‘Vaskana venyu ava’ from Nash TV’s YouTube channel following a dispute with his producer.

Speaking to Bustop TV, Prince Boyah said that his song had bagged many views when he had a disagreement with beat maker, Anonzi Xndr over the track’s rights.

“The misunderstanding that we had killed the momentum of the song. The views that the song had in the first 48 hours after being posted were amazing and the way people were already making challenges on social media was really motivating. Then after all that noise and acceptance, the song had to be pulled down just like that off the platform which confused the fans.”

He added that fans have continued to ask for the song from him after failing to access it on the Nash TV YouTube channel.

The ‘Buri’ singer said, “I have had people asking for the audio on my WhatsApp but I could never possibly reach out to as many people using my WhatsApp compared to Nash TV. The song has been requested countless times which shows me how good it is and how big it should have been.”

Asked what really transpired, Boyah simply hinted on what the rift was about.

“I got the beat from Xndr last year but you know even in families we have differences. I would say youthfulness got to me and I made mistakes that I shouldn’t have made before recording the song which got to Xndr. We have since ironed out our differences and the song is back on Nash TV. I remain hopeful that ‘Vaskana venyu ava’ will take off from where it left.”

Boyah is due to release more tracks. He has since released songs like Buri, Kuiswa, Weekend Mood and Mwana wani uyo.
