Former Highlanders and Supersport FC talisman, Prince ‘Mgadafi’ Dube has scooped the player of the month accolade in Tanzania, following a splendid performance with his new club Azama FC.

The 23-year old striker, is currently leading the scoring chart of the Tanzanian 2020/21 season, having grabbed 5 goals and 2 assists in 4 games.

Mgadafi’s coach, Aristica Cioaba also walked away with the coach of the month award.

The Zimbabwe international joined his fellow compatriots, Bruce Kangwa and Never Tigere, who gave him a warm welcome.

However, the striker will miss Sunday’ friendly match between the Warriors hosts Malawi.

Azam reportedly sent a letter to the Warriors suggesting that Prince be left out of the national team squad after sustaining a hamstring in their home match versus Kagera Sugar last Sunday.
