Police is currently investigating death of a minor Ropafadzo Muzvangwa (11) who was reportedly assaulted by her mother Vimbiso Muzvagwa (26) before she died.
The Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) in a statement confirmed investigations into the case.
“Police in Harare are investigating circumstances surrounding the death of a minor, Ropafadzo Muzvagwa (11) who died on 24/10/21,” ZRP wrote on twitter.
Ropafadzo was allegedly assaulted by her mother on Saturday at Tabudirira Co-operative, Budiriro 4, Harare.
It is alleged that the deceased’s mother who has been named as the suspect, reportedly battered her child with a cooking stick and a leather sandal after a misunderstanding.
