Passengers Association of Zimbabwe has implored drivers to be cautious on the roads to avoid loss of life.

This follows a fatal accident that involved a ZUPCO bound bus and a haulage truck along the Harare -Bulawayo highway claiming the lives of  eight people and injuring over thirty people.

Speaking to Bustop TV News, Passenger Association of Zimbabwe national coordinator Mr Tafadzwa Goliati said , passenger lives matter hence drivers should be very cautious when carrying passengers.

“Passengers Association of Zimbabwe is heartbroken to the loss of lives due to road traffic accident which occurred on Bulawayo Highway Wednesday morning, involving a ZUPCO and Zimpapers Fuel Tanker. Your loss is our loss. We urge drivers to be more cautious on the roads all the time since the roads are now characterized with rogue and rough drivers who do not value other road users rights” said PAZ

Eight (8) people died on the spot while 31 others were injured after a ZUPCO bus they were traveling in was involved in a head-on collision with a fuel tanker near Battlefields along the Harare Bulawayo Highway this Wednesday.
