Oil Castor Zim to host Miss Rural Africa.

Regional bio-technology company, Oil Castor Zimbabwe is set to host Miss Rural Africa 2020 beauty pageant this June aimed at giving rural women a voice.

This comes after the previous modelling contest was cancelled by Facebook forcing the company to nullify all votes.

Models will be voted for on the company’s website OilCastor.com from the 10th of June for a prize that is yet to be announced.

Winners will be announced on the 30th of June.

Speaking to Bustop TV, Oil Castor Zimbabwe co-founder, Alvaro Silva said any female model from the African region qualifies to be part of the beauty pageant.

“Motive behind the pageant is to empower rural women by giving them a platform to express themselves themselves to millions of Zimbabwean expats around the globe.

“Prizes are US$5 for entering and the main prizes are still to be determined.

“Winners will be announced June 30th contestant with the highest votes will win and counting of votes will be done live on the website.”
