“Isu hatiitiswe, izvo zvekuda kutiisa tambomuhuro hatite izvozvo, the party is renewing as it grows, party of the renewal process is the MDC Alliance, a brainchild of the late president Morgan Tsvangirayi.”

Chamisa further called for patience from his supporters saying his party is implementing a ‘strategy’ which they cannot reveal.

“I hear some people are saying we don’t have a strategy, we have a strategy. We cannot review our strategy to the public, and part of strategy is the people.”

Turning on the arrest of Joanna Mamombe other opposition leaders, Chamisa blasted the government over the arrest.

“Its shameful that our government has institutionalized lying. How can we have a national broadcaster that airs out a complete lie. We demand an independent inquiry into matter of Joanna Mamombe, Cecilia Chimbiri and Netsai Marova.”

Addressing the gathering MDC Alliance Vice president, Tendai Biti said they are prepared to die in order to finish what they started in 1999.

“We are prepared to finish the struggle under Nelson Chamisa”.

The outspoken Biti went on to blast Zanu PF leaders whom he described as ‘thieves and thugs’.

“ZANU PF is now a party of Slay Queens. It is now a party of thieves and thugs. A party of Ferraris, small houses, party of Slay Queens, the party of Emerson Mnangagwa – a tired and exhausted liberation struggle.

“MDC Alliance is in our hearts you can take everything but not which is in us. We are out of our head office, but it doesn’t matter, whether we hold a meeting under a tree or water or in remote areas, the party is in our hearts.

“They can try to take our name, they can try to take our MPs, they can try to take our buildings, they can try to take our assets, our councillors.”
