Nomadic Dutch coach Pieter de Jongh, has turned down an opportunity to renew his contract at Highlanders for “new challenges,”

Writing on his official twitter account the Dutchman said he will be leaving Highlanders on the 31th of December “seeking for new challenge ”

Source’s at FC Platinum say the Bosso gaffer has agreed terms with FC Platinum and will be unveiled in January, _Busstop_ has learnt.

When all appeared to be under control for Lizwe Sweswe who took temporary charge of FC Platinum after experienced Normal Mapeza left for Chippa United in October.

However, it appear the door has been shut on Sweswe with the Dutchman set to take the reins in January.

His move to Zvishavane could witness a mass exodus of Highlanders players to move to FC Platinum . Bosso hit man Prince Dube has been linked with a move to the midlands side .

The Dutchman had assumed the reigns at Highlanders in September losing just once as Bosso also won the Chibuku Cup under his watch.

Source’s at the Bulawayo giant’s suggests De Jongh will be replaced by Bosso legend Rahman Gumbo who was with TelOne.

However, Source’s at Highlanders are that the board is not unanimous on Rhaman with one board member reportedly against highering Gumbo
