Mnangagwa Lays Rules Ahead of Mucky Provincial Elections

Ahead of the crunchy Zanu PF provincial election which has exposed deep seated factionalism within the ruling party, President Mnangagwa has urged discipline.

Speaking during his party’s  358TH Ordinary Session Of The Politiburo Mnangagwa said that tolerance, discipline must be maintained ahead of the decisive  provincial election .

“The party election and mobilization teams alongside other relevant Departments are directed to strictly comply with rules and regulations that govern the conduct of our elections. The values of Peace Unity, Non violence,  Discipline, Respect and Tolerance must be maintained.

“No individual no matter their position in the Party is above the law. Successful and unsuccessful candidates are urged to accept results and quickly avail themselves for deployment into serving the Party,” said Mnangagwa

Zanu PF is expected to hold provincial election in the coming days, however violence has characterized the party’s restructuring exercise.

The party has been embroiled in dirty violence as rival factions in provinces employing dirty politics.
