Masvingo – MDC Alliance National youth organiser and Masvingo ward 4, Godfrey Kuraone has been granted RTGS$1000 bail.
He is set to appear again before the courts on the 22nd of this month facing charges of undermining the authority of the president.
High Court Judge WaMambo said that Magistrate Mundondo misdirected herself by not granting Kurauone bail adding that he was not a flight risk.
Human rights lawyer, Mmartin Mureri who is representing Kurauone confirmed the development.
Advocate Mureri said, “Councillor Kuraone will be back at Magistrate court on 22 July 2020. He is facing charges of undermining the President, Emmerson Mnangagwa,” said Mureri.
