MASVINGO based musician, Ratidzo Wekare recently released two single tracks.
The songs titled Jehovah Chikakarara and Munondichengeta are part of an album, that is yet to be released.

The tracks center on praise and encouragement during the Covid-19 pandemic where many have struggled to make ends meet.
“Covid -19 has hit hard on everyone in the country and the lockdown made things worse, with all the challenges and problems l am facing as an artist in difficult times like these. I managed to make it through and l survived. I witnessed the hand of the Lord in my life as he fought for my battles, so we are over comers so we have to give praise and thanks to the Lord everyday of our life for his love is everlasting.
“People should place their trust in the Lord, for no one is greater than Him. The songs are a motivation to those who are losing hope, if one calls upon the Lord nothing will ever go wrong. People should never underestimate the power of the Lord. Listening to the songs will uplift ones soul and spirit,” said Wekare.
She also featured in the local radio station Top 50 where two of her songs stood on number 2 and 8. Nechipo Changu was number 2 and Ndiratidze Rudo was number 8.
The musician during lockdown ventured into farming and is selling the produce to retail shops, schools and schools.
