Afro pop sensation , Mukudzeyi Mukombe, affectionately known as “Jah Prayzah”, has been nominated in the illustrious African Entertainment Awards, USA (AEAUSA), for the best Entertainer Of The Year category.
This is the 5th edition of the annual AEAUSA awards ceremony since 2015 and will be held in New Jersey, USA.
The AEAUSA awards, honor African excellence in all craft and industry sectors, ranging from Entertainment, Entrepreneurship and Community Leadership.
Moreover, Jah Prayzah has been nominated alongside other major African artist, including Burna Boy, WizKid, Tiwa Savage, Diamond Platinum and Yemi Alade among others.
The ‘Mudhara Achauya’ hitmaker, announced the nomination via social media by posting on the wall of his official facebook account.
The leader of the ‘Third Generation’ band, encouraged his fans to rally behind him by casting their votes on the AEAUSA website.
“Team JP your support for the works is being recognised out there. We have a nomination for top entertainer at the @aeausa. The nomination in itself is a win. Go and vote on their website www.aeausa.net,” he wrote.
However, the nomination follows just after his manager, Keen Mushapaidze, was also nominated in last year’s 4th edition awards for the best African Talent/Artiste Manager category.
Jah Prayzah released his 10th album ‘Hokoyo’ earlier this year.
The album comprises of 15 tracks, namely Mkwasha, Hokoyo, Asante, Dhonodzo, among others.
In his recent album, the Military Touch Movement leader, featured regional artistes, Diamond Platinum and Yemi Alade who are also shortlisted for the 2020 AEAUSA best Entertainer Of The Year category.
