Castle Lager Premier Soccer League (PSL) October coach of the month and Highlanders FC gaffer Peiter Hendrik De Jongh has dismissed any offers from any club particularly FC Platinum who are reported to be after his signature.

With his contract at the financially troubled Bulawayo giants currently offering him a paltry $2500USD, money bags FC Platinum are alleged to have offered him double the amount to lure him.

However the confident gaffer nicknamed Hlabangane by Highlanders fans has rubbished offers from any club that may snatch him from the resurgent Bosso side.

The expatriate coach has done well for the Bulawayo giants, with a record 13 match unbeaten run, winning himself the October coach of the month accolade.

The Dutch International posted on his Facebook wall yesterday disclosing how he won’t allow offers from any club.

“Honored to be the coach of the month, I am told l got an offer from FC Platinum tomorrow it will read Orlando Pirates next day Barcelona or Real Madrid.

“If l had won it last month could be having an offer from Tottenham, l am wondering why they make such interesting news.

“Maybe there is another De Jongh in the country with all those offers because l don’t have any on my table,” reads his post.

Since coming on board in September this year, replacing Mandla Mpofu who took over after the departure of club legend Madinda Ndlovu, De Jongh has transformed Highlanders from a relegation fighting side to a competitive team.

Analysts have hinted that he may end this season with silverware lf his red hot Bosso side wins the Chibuku Super Cup final against Ngezi next Saturday.
