It will be a match of the Pacquiao/Mayweather magnitude as two of the biggest comediennes, Dhafu from Naiza Boom and Bustop TV’s Gonyeti, will go face to face in a boxing charity boxing match.
The boxing match is being brought by Kudzaishe Chipadza and Kumbirai Chipadza from Wamambo Holdings and Deutsch Connect, the boxing match is meant to promote awareness against gender based violence.
“As we commemorate International Women’s Month in March, Wamambo Holdings & Deutsch Connect have partnered in this boxing match featuring two of Zimbabwe’s most prominent female artistes to raise awareness on Gender Based Violence, Promote Women Entrepreneurship and Empower young women in business.
“We are also raising money for Girl Pride Zimbabwe, a Harare based charity organization that helps teen moms bounce back to normality and to reassure them that there is a always a chance to make it in life no matter the circumstances. ”Chipadza said.
He also explained that they chose the two comedy forces to battle out saying that they are the most watched comedians outside the country
The promoter also said that they had to create a feud online so that they attract attention on social media to hype up the match which is set for March 26.
“We wanted to get peoples attention and it was against the two fighters will because we all know the two are peace loving individuals. We had to act it out.
”The match will be a pay per view online streaming event with tickets being bought at https://gatewaystreammusic.com by use of card payment or eco cash.
The event is also supported by Evolution, a designer brand from United Kingdom sponsoring the kits, Tann law solicitors and 263 Grocery’s as partners.
