The ruling party, ZANU PF has said it is appalled by the conduct of South Africa’s ANC delegates, Lindiwe Sisulu and Tony Yengeni, after the duo insisted there is a crisis in Zimbabwe.

This follows a recent visit by the ANC delegation led by secretary general, Ace Magashule. During it’s media briefing at the party headquarters in Harare, Zanu PF secretary for external affairs, Simbarashe Mumbengegwi said his party was not happy with the conduct of Sisulu and Yengeni.

Mumbengegwi, also poured cold water on the prospect of the ANC delegation returning to Zimbabwe saying the visit was on a sister party basis and nothing else.

“We help each other on invitation, we enjoy sovereign equality, both as political parties as well as nations, therefore, no party, especially a sister party can impose itself on another sister party,” he said.

Impeccable sources said the ANC duo who were part of an delegation that met ZANU PF officials on Wednesday had no kind words for their counterparts.

The two are alleged to have insisted that there was a crisis in Zimbabwe much to the chagrin of their fellow ZANU PF fellow.
Mumbengegwi said Sisulu was offside on maintaining an argument that Zimbabwe is in crisis.

“Our counterpart (Lindiwe Zulu), on landing in South Africa held a media briefing where she riveted back to the original position that there was a crisis in Zimbabwe and therefore they needed to come back to Zimbabwe to resolve that crisis, but surely how can you unilaterally reverse a common
position that the two delegations agreed on.”

This is not the first time Sisulu has clashed with authorities in Zimbabwe.
During the late President Robert Mugabe reign , she was insulted heavily by the nonagenarian leader for her hard line stance against the ruling ZANU PF party mis-governance.

However, ZANU PF is maintaining the stance that there is no crisis in Zimbabwe. In refuting the crisis tag in Zimbabwe, the government has blamed social media frenzy fronted by keyboard warriors who they say have a deliberate agenda to smear campaign against it’s existence.
The government also accuses it’s former erstwhile G40 comrades for fanning fabricated stories about the current administration.
