Moreblessing Chinyandura a 19 year old model representing Chinhoyi at the Miss Heritage Zimbabwe Competition commends assistance she got in order to fulfill her dream.

From childhood Chinyandura grew up with the passion of being a model, since a pageant is said to be a source of showing beauty and empowering the girl child.

To reach the step she is standing on, it has been a tiresome and hard journey for her, for she did not have the adequate resources for her to pursue her dreams.

“It has been a difficult journey to pursue, considering that funds are difficult to come by these days. Finding someone who will assist you will be a blessing and something to cherish and make sure you push to get to the top to show how much you appreciate such a gesture.”

Moreblessing thanked the Mike Chimombe Trust for ensuring that her dream was fulfilled by covering boot camp fees, accommodation, meals, wardrobe and other activities that are going to take place.

“I would like to thank the foundation for coming to my aid at such a short notice, and would like to urge them to not only do it for me but also for other ladies who would want assistance on empowerment issues.”

She added that some had withdrawn from the pageant due to lack of funding, hence called upon the corporate world to support those in need of funding and keep the tourism and arts sectors alive.

Mike Chimombe the trusts Founder stated that his foundation was aimed at creating a positive difference in every Zimbabwean child and giving back to the community.

“The trust aims at walking the talk, and not just talking without achieving results, we aim at complimenting the governments efforts of improving the lives of the girl child and vulnerable groups.

“It is therefore the mission of the trust to make a difference in the life of the girl child, the vulnerable and the less privileged are taken care of,” said Chimombe.

He added that it is his duty and obligation to make a difference, so that there is growth and development in the life of the girl child.
