Byo Chiefs Rope In Ex-Ole Assistant, Terroso

Premier League ambitious side Bulawayo Chiefs, Thursday afternoon, officially unveiled Nilton Terroso (42) as their new head coach for this coming season.

Terroso jetted into the country last week from Portugal ahead of his new duty for the Ninjas.

In his coaching career, Terroso once had a stint working alongside Manchester United’s current manager Ole Gunner Solskjaer, as his assistant at Cardiff City back in 2014.

Speaking at the unveiling ceremony at ZITF in Bulawayo, Chiefs representative confirmed to the media that Terroso will is their new head coach.

“We want to welcome you all members of the media to our press conference, as we unveil our new head coach Nilton Terroso together with his technical team,” said the Chiefs representative.

The Portuguese will replace the club’s former coach Thulani Sibanda who was  reportedly fired over undisclosed issues.

Terroso will be deputised by Mark Mathe as his first assistant, Farai Tawachera and former Bosso striker Abraham Mubaiwa.

Meanwhile, few days ago Byo Chiefs also roped in former Zimbabwe Saints player as the club’s new head coach for the developmental side which will reportedly be the senior team’s feeder.

Sawu will work together with the former Highlanders FC defender Anzilom Ndlovu.
