After a long spell of missing out in a major cup final the Bulawayo giants Highlanders FC have managed to go through in the Chibuku Super Cup final after 1 nil victory over ZPC Kariba at Babourfileds (BF) Stadium this afternoon.
Bosso got their only goal in the first half through in form striker Prince Dube.
Bosso also knocked out city rivarls Dynamos with a similar scoreline in the first round of this tournament at Rufaro Stadium, thanks to a Prince Dube solitary goal.
A week after knocking out Dembare, Amahlolanyama proceeded with their style of knocking out big guns and managed to come up with a 3 nil victory over reigning champions FC Platinum at BF, courtesy of Denzel Khumalo, Tinashe Makanda and Prince “Mgadafi” Dube.
Prince Dube is the current top goal scorer in the chibuku super cup and may add to his tally when they meet Ngezi Platinum stars.
Both teams will now wait for the sponsors (Chibuku) of the tournament and the local football mother body PSL to announce the venue for the final.
