Zvimba traditional leader, Stanley Urayayi Mhondoro has ordered the exhumation and reburial of the late former president, Robert Gabriel Mugabe’s remains at the National Heroes Acre on the 1st of July.
This was confirmed in a letter shared on twitter by Mugabe’s former spokesperson, Jealousy Mawarire.
This comes after the late leader’s widow, Grace Mugabe snubbed a hearing last week at Chief Zvimba’s courts.
She was fined five cattle and two goats for violating cultural customs following her husband’s burial in Zvimba.
