President Emmerson Mnangagwa has today addressed the nation on the review of lockdown. Below are the points of the reviewed lockdown measures.
.Vaccination is for free and is not mandatory.
.Wearing of face masks, temperature check, washing of hands remains mandatory
.Curfew is now from 10pm to 5am
.Supermarkets can now be open up to 7pm
.Letters are no longer required for movement
.Food markets and informal sector can reopen subject to adherence to WHO Guidelines.
.Schools, Universities must prepare to open.
.Intercity travel can now resume. Bus operators must ensure the disinfection of buses. Sanitation and all other WHO_and Ministry of Health protocols
.Funeral gatherings remain at 30 people. All other social gatherings now at 50.
.Restaurants should not have sit-ins but all serve take-aways and deliveries.
.Bottle stores to strictly adhere to their licenses. Pubs and gymnasiums remain closed.
