Famous for promising every Zimbabwean family eggs, milk, honey and bacon if elected into office at 2018 Harmonazed election, Peter Muyanduri is now reportedly mentally ill.
The Patriotic Front (NPF) leader is admitted at Chinhoyi Provincial Hospital’s psychiatric ward after he suffered a mental breakdown.
In 2018 not only did he assure citizens of a mouthwatering breakfast but he said he would appoint only two Government ministries.
He intensified his presidential election campaign visiting locals queuing at banking halls.
The losing presidential candidate is said to have suffered a mental breakdown at his workplace, Zimbabwe Electricity Transmission and Distribution Company (ZETDC) Chinhoyi Megawatt offices early last week.
Speaking to a local publication his colleagues on condition of anonymity claimed he had indecently exposed himself to female workmates during a wellness programme before he was taken to Chinhoyi Provincial Hospital where he is currently admitted.
Responding to the media Engineer Munyanduri said the allegations were being peddled by detractors who wanted to destroy his political career.
“Yes, I am not feeling well, but the claim that I indecently exposed myself is a lie.
“All these rumours are aimed at tainting my political imagine as I am a force to reckon with.”
A source at Chinhoyi hospital claimed Munyanduri indicently exposed himself again to female staff members.
