The Zimbabwe Sables team will play in a quadrangular series to be hosted at Stellenbosch in South Africa from 12 – 20 November this year.
The matches are Rugby World Cup qualifiers and Zimbabwe will be used as preparatory matches for the Africa Cup.
Apart from the Sables, Kenya, Namibia and Brazil will also participate.
Hosted by World Rugby, the tournament is aimed at providing suitable high-performance competition in November for the highest ranked African sides which will include an Invitational side from Brazil.
Sables Manager, Jason Maritz told Bustop TV that camp will resume on November 1 and that the squad will be announced soon.
According to ZRU, Brandon Dawson the Zimbabwe head coach, welcomed the high-performance games and said they will help the Sables to gauge their strengths against top ranked side ahead of the world rugby qualifiers set for France in July of 2022.
