Zim reviews schools curriculum

The Ministry of Primary and Secondary education has announced that it will be carrying out a nationwide 2023 curriculum review consultations.

The review will be carried out between May 23 and 24, from 8 am and 5 pm.

In a statement seen by BustopTV, the Ministry said all schools will be consultation centres.

The consultations will be between the ministry, its clients and internal stakeholders, to look into the socioeconomic development for the educational system in the country.

“The Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education will be carrying out a Nationwide 2023 Curriculum Review Consultations with its clients and internal stakeholders on 23 and 24 May 2023 from 0830 hrs to 1700 hrs. Every school will be a consultation Centre,” partly reads the statement.

The ministry said the review will help improving the curriculum and provide an inclusive 21st century quality education.

“This is an opportunity for the internal stakeholders to participate in deciding the education we want as a nation.

“Their views are important to shape our education for Socio-Economic development,” reads the statement.
