Jah Prayzah, Tocky Vybez and man of the moment Mambo Dhuterere are set for a 2019 shutdown gig to be held in South Africa on December 7.

The shutdown show is to be held in an open air venue in Cosmo City in the Ransburg area of Johannesburg.

Promoter of the show, Chenjerai Kadzinga who operates under the brand JJ productions confirmed the show.

“We will be having Jah Prayzah, Tocky Vybez, Mambo Dhuterere and Bekezela. These will be the main acts. They will be supported by Joempiano, Chad, Ice King, Platinum Prince, Pimp wacho and many more. There will be guests such as Melly Mamoyo ( Mvenge Mvenge) and Zuva Habane,” said Kadzinga.

Kadzinga who is also an artist and producer has previously brought in some of Zimbabwe’s artists to South Africa but he said that the shows where not as big as this one.

“I did a lot of gigs but those were small shows. My first was with Ras Caleb in August 2015. That was the first time Chilsport family came to S.A for a gig. I also did Jah Love, Celsius, Ninja Kid, Boom Berto, Killer T, Nox Guni, Maggikal, Spider-Man, Gee Brandon, Dino Mudondo, Willom Tight, Chihomu Homu, Ricky fire and many others,” he added.

The promoter assured the revelers that will come to the event that the venue will be safe for them.

“I would want to assure a safe and well organized show. People should come in numbers as we shutdown Joburg with in style. Secure parking and a tight security setup will be on point. This is a show not to be missed,” he said.

Kadzinga has a recording studio called JJ Productions based in S.A. He has done tracks with the likes of Jah love track called Fare Fare Tindike and another one with Maggikal track called Better Life and many more.

The show will cost R200 advance, R300 at the gate, R1000 VIP and R2000 for the VVIP section. The gig will be at Corner Malibongwe and Dawn Street.
