ZERA pressured for partial issuing of foreign currency licenses

It is not true that Zera was set to register ALL fuel service stations that have free funds. Zera’s initial position was that it would be “fairly sparing” in the issuance of foreign currency trading licenses. This new position comes after Zera’s management came under intense public pressure over the licenses which were being limited to give an unfair trading advantage to Zanu PF-linked fuel stations such as Zuva, which had already announced it would be selling in foreign currency before the process was open to the rest of the industry. – Kukurigo
