There is too much hate in Zim: Buffalo Soldier

Buffalo Souljah has revealed that he has never had a “beef” with Seh Calaz but rather sees so much hurt, jealousy and pain in Zimbabwe.

Whilst speaking about a Christmas show he is promoting, Buff as he is affectionately known revealed that he had no beef with Zimdancehall chanter Seh Calaz, whom he insinuated had some form of hurt or jealousy emanating from some culture in Zimbabwe.

“I don’t keep grudges and never had a problem with him. Munhu akakuti pfutseki (If a person insults you) it’s either you say Pfutsekiback or choose not to but that is no reason to hate someone for. Everybody is entitled to his or her opinion all I chant and always promote is Kubatana (unity). There is too much Kurwadziwa vanhu muZim I pray tichapora. (There is too much hurt or jealousy in Zimbabwe and I pray we get healing.)”

Seh Calaz weighed in a lyrical war between Buffalo Souljah and Ghanian chanter Shatta Wale where he shot a video saying that Buff had been lyrically murdered by the Ghanaian. Buff responded with a video and a beef could have been built.

The chanter, who recently brought out a single titled “Chiraparapa”, said that him and Shatta Wale are cool but not as friends.

Meanwhile, the dancehall musician will be hosting a shutdown show at Newtown Music Factory in Johannesburg CBD.

“Brother Christmas is inviting you end of the year concert. This is the third time we are having this show. We used to host it in the clubs. Well, this time we made it a concert and added bigger line uptime. Myself and Boss Lashaan are promoting the concert.” he said.

The show will be headlined by Freeman, DJ Maphorisa, Sha Sha, Zanda Zakuza and Nadia Nakai. DJ Backspin, DJ Irie Dread and DJ Snypes . VIP tickets for the show are selling for R500 whilst the general ticket is R200.
