Police has withdrawn its ban on the Citizens Coalition for Change rally set for today at Domboramwari, Epworth.
This comes after the main opposition party’s legal team filed a court challenge.
In a letter addressed to CCC police had claimed it did not have enough manpower for the event as officers had been deployed to polling agents ahead of the March 26 by-elections.
The rally will be addressed by CCC leader Nelson Chamisa and legislators and councillors.
CCC lawyer Jeremiah Bamu said: “Police withdrew their letter banning the rally. The rally has now been cleared.”
