Police Appeal for Information on Fugitive Brothers

Police in Mashonaland Central’s Bindura District are appealing for information that may lead to the arrest of four Shereni brothers accused of assaulting their married sister’s lover.

The four are Smart, Simbarashe, Tafadzwa and LIoyd all from Avoca farm.

Allegations are that on 26 July this year, the four suspects’ sister was allegedly caught pants down with a fellow villager’s husband only identified as Munyaradzi Njanji.

The whole compound then circled their hut and the four brothers attacked Njanji with wooden logs before they were refrained by his mother.

Assistant Inspector, Naison Dhliwayo the acting police spokesperson said only one of them has since been arrested and the other three are on the run.

“We are also appealing to members of the public to adopt peaceful ways of conflict resolution such as negotiations, mediation, arbitration and or litigation.

“Police does not condone barbaric methods of conflict resolution. We are also appealing to members of the public to avoid taking the law into their own hands.
