Controversial Zim-dancehall artist Platinum Prince apologized to President Emerson Mnangagwa through a song called “Hawayana” which was released over the weekend.

This comes after news broke that the musician was allegedly abducted and brutally assaulted by a group of unidentified, masked and armed men one Sunday afternoon just a few hours after the musician had arrived back in Zimbabwe from a South Africa tour.

The musician had released a track titled “NDIYO YACHO HERE MR PRESIDENT” which seems very critical of President Emerson Mnangagwa’s government’s.

A source close to the developments said the men did not produce any warrant or give reasons for the abduction.

The men just blocked the way of the car that the controversial musician was in and assaulted the driver who was trying to understand why they had blocked the road with their car in the process.

According to the source, the men then took the chanter and put him in a car boot and disappeared.  He was assaulted and dumped along Chiremba Road barely 24 hours after the incident.

However, this was not the first time for this to happen to Platinum prince. In 2015 he also released a song titled NDEIP PRESIDENT and he was warned about his type of music.

However, the musician regret singing the song there he released a song apologizing saying some people influenced him to do these songs
