The Zimbabwe Football Association (ZIFA) is yet to announce the Mighty Warrior’s provisional squad for the upcoming 2020 COSAFA tournament set to be played in South Africa.
COSAFA announced 3-14 November as the new dates for the tournament, which was suppose to take place in August but was postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic that affected the football calendar.
The country’s football mother body (ZIFA) is still yet to officially announce the Mighty Warriors squad with only two few days left to showdown.
ZIFA once delayed to announce the senior national team squad that played an international friendly match against Malawi, only to name it 2 days before the matchday.
However, across the boarder, Banyana Banyana through their coach, Desiree Ellis, pronounced a provisional 27 woman squad in preparation for the forthcoming COSAFA CUP tournament.
The Senior Women’s Football return to action for the first time on the African continent since the COVID-19 outbreak.
