Dynamos have not lost a premier soccer league match since their June 16 defeat to Highlanders.Dynamos gaffer, Tonderai Ndiraya will be buoyed by the previous records set by his predecessors of most unbeaten games.
“We will add another match to our streak tomorrow despite it being a derby. We want to finish the season undefeated, we want to get to 22-games without a defeat,” Ndiraya said.“We want to finish all the games we are going to play this season without a defeat but most importantly we want maximum points so that we push into the top four for the season.
“Because of the quality we have in our team we couldn’t fight with the big boys for the title. But what we have achieved, going for 19 games unbeaten with a lot of youngsters in our team is not a little achievement, so that’s what is encouraging us,” Ndiraya added
The green machine desperately needs a derby win that would aid them as they go into the final two matches of the season, against Ngezi Platinum and FC Platinum.
Caps United coach Darlington Dodo, however, was cautious telling reporters that “Derbies are always difficult and it will not be easy facing Dynamos. But I am happy we are facing them at a time they are enjoying good form. It makes it interesting, it even motivates us,” Dodo said
“But looking at the boys at training, there is great desire, there are hunger and enthusiasm. We really want to win this one and we are going for maximum points and nothing less,” he added.
